Mr. McMahon has more than 25 years of experience as a senior financial executive and bank CFO. He joined Fieldpoint Private from Salisbury Bancorp, a $600 million Connecticut-based bank, where he served as Executive Vice President and CFO. Prior to Salisbury, Mr. McMahon played a significant role in the revitalization of NewMil Bank, and its successful sale to Webster Bank. He was also a member of the leadership team responsible for the turnaround of the troubled Doral Financial Corporation, a $10 billion diversified financial firm for which he served as SVP for Financial Planning and Analysis.

Prior to his banking career, Mr. McMahon was with Price Waterhouse in both Ireland and the U.S. There, he specialized in reinsurance and financial services. He received his bachelor’s degree and accounting diploma from University College, Dublin, Ireland and is a Chartered Accountant.
